Defines "drone delivery service" as a person or entity engaged in delivering goods via drone and governed by Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

Defines "drone port" as a stand-alone building not exceeding 1,500 square feet and 36 feet in height, located in nonresidential areas, used for storage, launch, landing, and observation of drones.

Prohibits political subdivisions from withholding business tax receipts, development permits, or use approvals based on the location of a drone port, while allowing enforcement of general setback and landscaping regulations.

Exempts drone ports from compliance with the Florida Building Code and Florida Fire Prevention Code provisions concerning fire protection systems.

Effective July 1, 2023.
