Authorizes payors to collect up to $5 from a defendant's income to reimburse administrative costs for the first income deduction and up to $2 for each subsequent deduction.

Requires that the payor fee collection authorization be included in the notice that accompanies income deduction orders served on payors.

Renumbers existing notice requirements in income deduction orders from subparagraphs (f) through (i) to subparagraphs (g) through (j) to accommodate the new administrative cost provision.

Applies contingently upon the same effective date as companion legislation SB ___ or similar legislation enacted in the 2023 Regular Session.
