Establishes 8-year consecutive term limits for county commissioners statewide, overriding county charter provisions unless they impose more restrictive limits.

Exempts any county commissioner term that commenced before November 8, 2022 from counting toward the new 8-year limitation.

Reduces term limits for district school board members from 12 consecutive years to 8 consecutive years.

Excludes school board member terms commenced before November 8, 2022 from counting toward the new 8-year limitation.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
