Expands circumstances under which telehealth providers may prescribe Schedule II controlled substances to include treatment of terminal conditions as defined in s. 456.44(1)(a)2.

Adds cancer treatment to the list of conditions for which Schedule II controlled substances may be prescribed via telehealth.

Maintains existing exceptions for psychiatric disorders, inpatient hospital treatment, hospice services, and nursing home resident treatment.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
