Amends Florida Building Code requirements for public restrooms in newly constructed buildings after September 30, 1992, to establish a ratio of facilities for men and women.

Exempts establishments licensed under chapter 509 from restroom ratio requirements if they have no meeting or banquet rooms exceeding 150 persons and provide at least equal water closets for women as the combined total of water closets and urinals for men.

Requires wheelchair accessible toilet compartments and single-user toilet rooms newly constructed or renovated after July 1, 2023, to include a hook within reach range of a seated person on the toilet seat.

Mandates that all public restroom facilities comply with Florida Accessibility Code for Building Construction standards and sections 553.501-553.313.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
