Adds public records exemption for materials received or generated by Florida Is For Veterans, Inc. while administering the Veterans Employment and Training Services Program, including trade secrets, workforce training plans, business plans, military records, skills assessments, resumes, and financial information.

Exempts specified materials from Florida public records law (s. 119.07(1)) and the state constitutional right to public records (Art. I, s. 24(a)), with exception for aggregated data without personal identifying information used for reporting.

Establishes exemption subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and requires legislative reenactment by October 2, 2028, or the exemption automatically repeals.

Declares public necessity for exemption, citing need to protect trade secrets and proprietary information from competitors, prevent discrimination against veterans, and protect personal information from identity theft and fraud.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
