Exempts portions of Commission on Public Safety in Urban and Inner-City Communities meetings from public meetings requirements when exempt or confidential information is discussed

Exemption applies to Florida Statutes § 286.011 and State Constitution Article I, § 24(b) public meetings requirements

Exemption subject to Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals October 2, 2028 unless reenacted by the Legislature

Commission purpose includes investigating system failures related to high crime and gun violence in urban neighborhoods and developing recommendations for system improvements

Effective date contingent on passage and enactment of related legislation (SB ____) creating or establishing the Commission on Public Safety in Urban and Inner-City Communities
