Creates a Year-round School Pilot Program beginning with the 2024-2025 school year for a 4-year period to study year-round scheduling in elementary schools.

Requires school districts to apply with information about student enrollment, academic performance, absenteeism/tardiness rates, staff commitment, and expected benefits.

Commissioner of Education shall select 5 school districts to participate, with preference given to districts representing diverse demographics including urban, suburban, and rural areas.

Participating districts must implement single-track or multi-track schedules and provide data on academic/safety benefits and potential barriers including staffing, budgeting, transportation, and community service coordination.

Commissioner must report findings to the Governor and Legislature upon program completion, including enrollment changes, health and academic benefits, identified barriers, and recommendations on statewide adoption.
