Creates a public records exemption for law enforcement records related to security or transportation services for the Governor, Governor's family, visiting governors, and other persons authorized protection under Florida Statutes s. 943.68

Exemption applies retroactively to records held before, on, or after the effective date of the act and covers security plans, threat assessments, travel information, personnel identifying information, and facility operations details

Exemption covers records from the Department of Law Enforcement and other law enforcement agencies providing these protective services

Exemption is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals on October 2, 2028, unless the Legislature reenacts it

Legislature finds that protecting information about security and transportation operations is necessary to ensure the safety of protected persons and law enforcement personnel providing these services
