Amends Florida law to require $1 million per occurrence in combined bodily and property damage liability insurance for commercial motor vehicles furnishing equipment, supplies, materials, or services to government construction or maintenance projects involving transportation facilities.

Applies to projects involving bridges, roads, streets, highways, or railroads, and services incidental to such projects.

This $1 million requirement supersedes the existing tiered insurance requirements based on gross vehicle weight (currently ranging from $50,000 to $300,000 per occurrence).

Violations of the insurance requirement remain a noncriminal traffic infraction punishable as a nonmoving violation under Florida law.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
