Requires the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to waive 50 percent of initial license application fees for professions under chapter 455, capped at $200 per license per year for fiscal years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.

Requires the department to waive 50 percent of license renewal fees for professions under chapter 455, capped at $200 per license per year for the same fiscal periods.

Excludes unlicensed activity fees and background check fees from the waiver requirements.

Appropriates $50 million in nonrecurring General Revenue Fund money to the Professional Regulation Trust Fund for fiscal year 2023-2024, with any unexpended balance reverting to the 2024-2025 fiscal year for the same purpose.

Waiver provisions expire July 1, 2025, with an effective date of July 1, 2023.
