Defines "central bank digital currency" as digital currency, medium of exchange, or monetary unit issued by the Federal Reserve, federal agencies, foreign governments, central banks, or reserve systems and made directly available to consumers or processed/validated by these entities.

Revises the definition of "money" in the Uniform Commercial Code to explicitly exclude central bank digital currencies.

Renumbers subsections (10) through (46) of section 671.201, Florida Statutes, as subsections (11) through (47) to accommodate the new central bank digital currency definition.

Updates cross-references in sections 328.0015, 559.9232, 563.022, and 668.50 to reflect the renumbered subsections in section 671.201.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
