Department of Children and Families must publicly publish a monthly online dashboard with Medicaid and Florida Kidcare program data, including enrollment/disenrollment numbers by county, application processing metrics, and customer service performance statistics.

Enrollees in Florida Kidcare and Florida Healthy Kids programs with family income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level are exempt from premium payments and cannot be charged copayments, deductibles, or coinsurance for preventive services; this provision expires July 1, 2024, unless reauthorized by the Legislature.

Changes Medicaid optional payment eligibility for disabled persons and seniors from 88 percent to 133 percent of the federal poverty level, subject to federal waiver approval.

Extends continuous Medicaid coverage for eligible children under age 19 from 6 months to 12 months regardless of circumstance changes, except age limitations.

Creates the Office of the Medicaid Ombudsman within the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide consumer protection and advocacy services including complaint assistance, eligibility help, access to care issues, and interactions with state agencies.
