Creates s. 491.023, F.S., exempting a social worker's personal identifying information (other than name, licensure status, or licensure number) obtained from the compact data system and held by the Department of Health or the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling from public records requirements, unless the originating state authorizes disclosure by law.

Exempts meetings or portions of meetings of the Social Work Licensure Interstate Compact Commission, its executive committee, or other committees from public meetings requirements when discussing specified sensitive topics, including litigation, employee matters, licensee discipline, contract negotiations, law enforcement records, trade secrets, and compliance investigations.

Requires the presiding officer to publicly announce the closure of a meeting and reference each relevant exempting provision, with documentation in the meeting minutes.

Exempts recordings, minutes, and records generated during closed meeting portions from public records requirements to preserve the integrity of the meetings exemption.

Exemptions are subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and will stand repealed on October 2, 2029, unless reenacted by the Legislature; the act takes effect contingent on HB 99 or similar legislation being adopted in the same legislative session.
