Florida applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention for the sole purpose of proposing amendments to impose term limits on members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.

The application is intended to be aggregated with similar active applications from Alabama, Missouri, and Wisconsin, and may not be aggregated with applications on any other subject.

The application remains in effect as a continuing application until at least two-thirds of state legislatures have submitted applications on the same subject.

The resolution is automatically revoked, nullified, and retroactively withdrawn if it is used to support a convention with any agenda beyond proposing congressional term limits.

Copies of the application must be sent to the U.S. President, President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House, Florida's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of every state legislature.
