Amends ss. 394.47891 and 394.47892, F.S., to make records of participants and persons considered for participation in veterans treatment court programs and mental health court programs confidential and exempt from public records requirements, covering screening records, substance abuse screening records, behavioral health evaluations, and treatment status reports.

Allows disclosure of confidential records upon written request of the participant or their legal representative, or to another governmental entity involved in screening or providing treatment through the program.

Permits disclosure of substance abuse records pursuant to s. 397.501(7) and mental health records pursuant to s. 394.4615, consistent with existing statutory frameworks for those record types.

Applies retroactively to information collected before, on, or after the effective date of the exemption, and takes effect upon becoming law.

Subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repealed on October 2, 2029, unless reenacted by the Legislature.
