The Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco must issue a special alcoholic beverage license to residential condominiums in the Town of Hillsboro Beach, Broward County, that have at least 50 units, are wholly owned by or rented to nontransients, and are licensed as food service establishments.

The license must be issued to the person, company, or corporation managing the condominium's food and beverage operations, not to the condominium owners' association.

Alcoholic beverages under the license may only be served for on-premises consumption to condominium residents and their nonresident guests; package sales for off-premises consumption and sales after food service hours are prohibited.

The Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco is authorized to regulate and supervise licensed condominiums and may revoke or suspend licenses for violations of state beverage laws and regulations.

The act takes effect upon becoming law.
