Memorializes the 17 students and staff members killed and 17 others wounded during the 6-minute attack at the Parkland school by a 19-year-old former student armed with a semiautomatic rifle

Names all 17 victims individually, including 14 students ages 14–18 and 3 staff members—teacher Scott Beigel (age 35), coach Aaron Feis (age 37), and athletic director Christopher Hixon (age 49)

Acknowledges the extraordinary acts of courage by school community members during the attack, the lasting trauma to survivors and first responders, and the advocacy efforts by students and families to advance school safety laws and policies

Directs that a copy of the resolution be made available for presentation to surviving family members of those killed as a tangible expression of the House's sentiments
