Designates March 21, 2024, as "Persian New Year's Day" in Florida to celebrate Nowruz, the traditional Persian New Year observed for more than 3,000 years.

Recognizes Nowruz as marking the arrival of spring on the vernal equinox and the symbolic Haft-seen table tradition with seven elements representing beauty, health, patience, spring, fertility, rebirth, and prosperity.

Acknowledges that Nowruz is celebrated by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, including in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia, South Asia, the Caucasus, and the United States.

Recognizes the contributions of Iranian Americans to Florida's social and economic fabric, including medical care, cultural exchange, NASA's space program, and service on the University of Florida's Board of Trustees.

Expresses the House of Representatives' wishes for a peaceful and prosperous Nowruz and support for a peaceful, prosperous, and democratic Iran that respects human rights.
