Recognizes February 14, 2024, as "Gator Day" in Florida to honor the University of Florida.

Commends the University of Florida as the nation's top public university by Wall Street Journal rankings based on value, graduation rates, and learning environment.

Highlights the university's $1.25 billion in research expenditures, including UF Health Shands' nine top-50 medical specialties, the veterinary college's pioneering open-heart surgery program for dogs, and the Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences' record $300 million in research spending.

Recognizes the university's contributions including the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute's $3.2 billion economic impact, the newly designated National Cancer Institute Designated Cancer Center, the Florida Semiconductor Institute, and the Proton Therapy Institute's $44 million expansion project.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to University of Florida President Dr. Ben Sasse.
