Replaces all references to "Department of Economic Opportunity" with "Department of Commerce" and "Secretary of Economic Opportunity" with "Secretary of Commerce" throughout the Florida Statutes, conforming to the agency name change directed by Chapter 2023-173, Laws of Florida

Amends over 300 individual statutory sections spanning topics including workforce development, housing, economic development incentives, reemployment assistance, land use planning, seaport operations, tax credits, and numerous other areas of state law

Implements the directive in Section 147 of Chapter 2023-173, Laws of Florida, which instructed the Division of Law Revision to prepare this reviser's bill for the 2024 Regular Session

Makes no substantive policy changes; all amendments are purely technical name-change corrections to reflect the reorganization of the former Department of Economic Opportunity into the Department of Commerce

Takes effect on the 60th day after adjournment sine die of the 2024 legislative session, with certain provisions related to Section 201.15 (distribution of documentary stamp taxes) taking effect July 1, 2033
