Reclassifies "registered intern" designations in clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, and mental health counseling as "licensed associate" positions throughout Florida law (Chapter 491, F.S.)

Eliminates the requirement that a licensed mental health professional be physically present on the premises when associate licensees (formerly registered interns) provide clinical services in a private practice setting

Associate licenses remain valid for 5 years, and individuals must still complete supervised post-master's clinical experience requirements and identify a qualified supervisor before commencing practice

Updates all related statutory language regarding licensing, discipline, renewals, exemptions, title usage, and promotional materials to replace references to "registered interns" and "intern registration" with "licensed associate" terminology

Scheduled effective date of July 1, 2024, with conforming cross-reference changes applied to s. 414.065, F.S., concerning domestic violence treatment exceptions in work requirement noncompliance provisions
