Creates section 267.0724, Florida Statutes, requiring the Department of State to partner with the Florida African American Heritage Preservation Network to preserve the history, culture, and contributions of Florida's Black and African-American residents, subject to legislative appropriation of funds.

Preservation efforts must include funding for member museums, affiliates, and institutions; supporting galleries and archives; and funding for technology, equipment acquisition, content and exhibit development, fabrication, and installation.

Requires the Network to submit a list of member museums to the Department of State, which must independently verify the membership status of each museum.

Directs the Department and the Network to jointly determine other eligible expenditures, which may include internships, field training sessions, virtual communication among museums, traveling exhibits, and living history presentations.

Effective date is July 1, 2024.
