Requires all Florida governmental entities to include a provision in public works project contracts mandating that any iron or steel products permanently incorporated in the project be produced in the United States, with all manufacturing processes from initial melting through coating occurring domestically

Exempts projects when U.S.-produced iron or steel is not available in sufficient quantities or satisfactory quality, when using domestic products would increase total project costs by more than 20 percent, or when compliance is inconsistent with the public interest

Permits minimal use of foreign steel and iron materials if they are incidental to the primary product and their cost does not exceed one-tenth of 1 percent of the total contract cost or $2,500, whichever is greater

Exempts electrical components, equipment, systems, and appurtenances (except transmission and distribution poles) from the domestic iron and steel requirement, and exempts Department of Transportation contracts already subject to federal Buy America requirements under 23 C.F.R. § 635.410

Directs the Department of Management Services to adopt rules implementing the new requirements, with an effective date of July 1, 2024
