Divine Nine Specialty License Plate — SB 948 (Florida, 2024)

• Expands eligibility for the Divine Nine specialty license plate to include immediate relatives of organization members, defined as a spouse, domestic partner, or child
• Extends eligibility to lessees of motor vehicles in addition to registered owners
• Requires immediate relatives seeking the plate to present a marriage license, domestic partnership agreement, birth certificate, or adoption record, along with proof of their relative's membership in the organization
• Requires lessees to present a lease agreement and the vehicle identification number of the leased motor vehicle
• Proof of membership is only required for initial plate issuance, not for renewals; effective date is July 1, 2024
