Requires public safety programs established by sheriffs or municipal law enforcement agencies that train businesses on assisting crime victims or reporting crimes to cover a broad range of victims and common crimes affecting persons, property, and businesses in the area

Mandates that any signage or symbols designating participation in such programs or marking a location as "safe" must be inclusive of all persons

Prohibits program signage or symbols from indicating an intent to benefit a limited group based on race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, or sex

Amends Florida Statutes sections 30.15 (sheriff powers and duties) and 166.0493 (municipal law enforcement duties), adding these new requirements alongside existing anti-discriminatory profiling policies

Effective date of July 1, 2024
