Amends s. 489.105, F.S., to expand the definitions of "commercial pool/spa contractor," "residential pool/spa contractor," and "swimming pool/spa servicing contractor" to explicitly cover splash pads, interactive water features, decorative water features, public bathing places, and swimming pool/spa appurtenances in addition to swimming pools, hot tubs, and spas.

Provides a detailed enumerated list of specific tasks within each contractor category's scope of work, including electrical connections on load side of disconnect, equipotential bonding installation, excavation, rebar installation, gunite application, fiberglass shell installation, interior finishes, piping, retaining walls, concrete flatwork, and pavers.

Defines "residential pool/spa contractor" as having the same scope of work as a commercial pool/spa contractor but excludes the construction of any new commercial swimming pool, spa, hot tub, or public bathing place.

Clarifies that no license is required for water treatment not involving equipment installation/modification/replacement, filter media changes, or cleaning that does not affect structural integrity of the pool, spa, hot tub, or interactive water feature.

Effective date is July 1, 2025.
