Defines "domestic animal" in Florida law as any animal living and breeding in a tame condition, including dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, rabbits, pigs, turtles, fish, and other pets, while explicitly excluding animals used for agricultural purposes or permitted as captive wildlife

Revises and reorganizes existing definitions in Section 828.02, Florida Statutes, for "animal," "cruelty," "torture," "torment," "owner," and "person" into separately numbered subsections

Adds a new sentencing multiplier of 1.25 to the Criminal Punishment Code worksheet for offenders convicted of animal cruelty under s. 828.12 when the offense is committed against a domestic animal
