Charter schools are added as eligible entities for the Workforce Development Capitalization Incentive Grant Program, which funds creation or expansion of career and technical education programs leading to industry certifications

By July 1, 2026, each school district and Florida College System institution must offer money-back guarantees on at least three additional programs (beyond the existing minimum of three) and report those programs to the State Board of Education

Enrollment in a program established under the money-back guarantee program automatically constitutes enrollment in the guarantee program, and eligibility criteria for tuition reimbursement related to internship/work-study participation and job search documentation may not exceed the work search requirements under s. 443.091

Annual Department of Education reports to the Governor, Senate President, and House Speaker must now include eligibility criteria for tuition reimbursement in addition to performance results, broken down by school district, institution, and program

The act takes effect July 1, 2025
