Work-based learning opportunities must be scheduled at times and locations that maximize student access and participation, with priority given to paid experiences such as apprenticeships and preapprenticeships

High school annual career fairs must provide students aged 16 and older (changed from grades 11-12) the opportunity to meet and interview with employers offering paid work experiences, including registered preapprenticeship and apprenticeship programs

Students' personalized academic and career plans must be reviewed annually from high school entry through graduation, revised as necessary to identify needed courses, and signed each year by the student, a parent or guardian, and a school counselor

The Articulation Coordinating Committee must convene a workgroup by September 1, 2025, composed of 15 members from state universities, Florida College System institutions, career centers, and apprenticeship sponsors, to develop postsecondary course equivalencies for apprenticeship and preapprenticeship programs, with recommendations due to the Board of Governors and State Board of Education by March 1, 2026

State universities, Florida College System institutions, and career centers must award postsecondary credit or career education clock hours for approved apprenticeship and preapprenticeship programs, with such credits guaranteed to transfer across all Florida public postsecondary institutions; the bill takes effect July 1, 2025
