Expands the Educational Dollars for Duty (EDD) program to provide tuition assistance to spouses and children of active Florida National Guard members, covering up to 50 percent of tuition costs

Sets aside $500,000 annually from existing EDD program funds for this family assistance component, with the Legislature authorized to increase this amount as needed

Transfers and renumbers existing EDD program provisions from s. 250.10(7) and (8) to a new standalone section 250.101, Florida Statutes

Requires the Department of Military Affairs to oversee implementation and enforcement, including establishing procedures for verifying eligibility and distributing funds

Takes effect July 1, 2026
