Expands residency restrictions for sexual offenders convicted of crimes against victims under 16 years of age, prohibiting residence within 1,000 feet of schools, child care facilities, parks, playgrounds, or public swimming pools for offenses occurring on or after July 1, 2026

Increases the loitering/prowling distance restriction from 300 feet to 500 feet from places where children congregate, and prohibits covered offenders from knowingly contacting or communicating with children under 18 at parks, playgrounds, or public swimming pools

Requires sexual offenders entering schools or child care facilities to provide written notification of their conviction status, notify staff upon arrival/departure, and remain under direct supervision of a school official or chaperone

Authorizes warrantless arrest of persons who violate the new contact/communication prohibitions with children at parks, playgrounds, public swimming pools, schools, or child care facilities

Adds mandatory conditions for probation, community control, and conditional release supervision prohibiting offenders from living within 1,000 feet of public swimming pools, working at public swimming pools, or visiting public swimming pools without prior approval from a supervising officer
