Oath includes pledges to support and defend the U.S. and Florida Constitutions, perform duties in a professional, independent, objective, and nonpartisan manner, and uphold academic integrity and professional ethics

Teachers must swear to foster a respectful learning environment promoting critical thinking, civic responsibility, and lifelong learning for all students

Oath requires teachers to commit to serving as positive role models in both conduct and character
