Workgroup responsibilities include developing key messages, setting initiative priorities, creating coordinated communications strategies targeting women, men, employers, and medical providers, and ensuring culturally appropriate outreach through diverse channels

Department of Health must collaborate with the workgroup, Office of Women's Health, and state agencies to develop and post publicly available resources on perimenopause and menopause on its website

Required resources include scientific information on symptoms and treatment options, health risks from reduced estrogen, a downloadable preventive care checklist for clinician visits, and content adapted from federal and advocacy organization materials
