Creates Section 914.18, Florida Statutes, requiring attorneys, investigators, or other agents acting on behalf of a criminal defendant to file a notice of intent at least 72 hours before contacting a victim to obtain information about a pending criminal case

Exempts contact with victims that occurs during court proceedings or depositions from the notice requirement

Requires the notice to be filed using a standard form developed and made available by the state attorney in each judicial circuit

Effective date: July 1, 2026
