Amends s. 409.175, F.S. to make confidential and exempt from public records the personal identifying and location information of family foster home applicants, current and former owners/operators, and their spouses, children, and other adult household members

Protected information includes home, business, work, child care, and school addresses and telephone numbers; birth dates; medical records; home floor plans; and photographs held by the Department of Children and Families

Extends confidentiality protections to the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of character or neighbor references for foster home applicants and current or former owners/operators

Removes prior provisions that would have made protected information public 5 years after application denial or license expiration (except medical records)

Subject to Open Government Sunset Review Act and scheduled for repeal on October 2, 2031 unless reenacted; effective date July 1, 2026
