Clerks of circuit courts must prepare annual performance reports for each circuit and county court judge, including metrics on cases assigned, cases disposed, clearance rates, average case length, civil cases pending 3+ years, and average days between scheduling and holding hearings

Reports must be posted by April 1 each year on clerk websites and court websites, remaining posted for the duration of each judge's tenure

Judges may prepare explanatory statements addressing extenuating circumstances affecting their metrics, which must be approved by the Chief Judge before being posted alongside the report

First reporting period begins with calendar year 2028; effective date July 1, 2026

Creates section 28.51, Florida Statutes, cited as the "Judicial Efficiency and Transparency (JET) Act"
