Establishes a mandatory dispute resolution procedure for property insurance claims through the Division of Administrative Hearings, replacing the previous voluntary mediation program under s. 627.7015, F.S.

Requires insurers to notify policyholders of the mandatory procedure at policy issuance, renewal, and when a claim is filed; Department of Financial Services must prepare consumer information pamphlets for distribution

Sets strict timelines: insurers must pay claims or file a response within 14 days of receiving a petition; administrative law judges must determine coverage within 60 days and total coverage amount within 180 days of petition filing

Repeals four existing statutes (ss. 627.70151, 627.70152, 627.70153, and 627.70154) relating to appraisal clauses, property insurance lawsuits, consolidation of residential property insurance actions, and mandatory binding arbitration
