Exempts identification and location information from public records for current and former civilian contractors and government employees authorized to access federal "secret" or "top secret" information, as well as their spouses and dependents

Protected information includes home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, personal communication device numbers, and names/locations of schools and day care facilities attended by spouses and dependents

Requires individuals to submit a written request for exemption and a written statement confirming reasonable efforts to protect the information through other means

Exemption applies retroactively to information held by agencies before, on, or after the effective date

Subject to Open Government Sunset Review and will stand repealed on October 2, 2031 unless reenacted by the Legislature; effective date is July 1, 2026
