State agencies must grant employees up to 30 working days of paid administrative leave to serve as living organ donors, in addition to any other authorized leave

Private employers and local governments with 50 or more employees must grant unpaid leave for employees serving as living organ donors upon written request with physician documentation

Leave for private/local government employees continues until the attending physician provides medical clearance to return to work

Employers may voluntarily offer paid leave or extend leave beyond the required minimum period
