Creates section 383.3363, Florida Statutes, requiring the Department of Health to develop educational materials on drowning prevention safety measures and safe bathing practices for distribution to parents and caregivers.

Educational materials must include information on increased drowning risks for infants and toddlers in bathtubs, pools, and other water sources; water safety measures emphasizing constant supervision; benefits of early childhood swimming lessons; and evidence-based safe bathing practices.

Requires hospitals, birth centers, and home birth providers offering maternity, prenatal, and newborn services to provide the drowning prevention materials to parents or caregivers as part of postpartum education and care.

Requires childbirth educators to provide the educational materials to parents or caregivers receiving childbirth education.

Effective date: July 1, 2026.
