Requires petitioners seeking this new injunction type to have reported the violence to law enforcement and to be cooperating with any criminal proceedings, regardless of whether charges were filed, reduced, or dismissed

Prohibits court clerks from charging filing fees for petitions seeking protection against serious violence by a known person, with clerks eligible for $40 per petition reimbursement from the Justice Administrative Commission

Mandates that respondents arrested for committing serious violence by a known person in violation of an injunction be held in custody until brought before the court for enforcement proceedings and bail determination

Adds the new injunction category to Florida's statewide verification system and updates conforming references across multiple statutes including those governing electronic records, guardian advocates, employee protections, stalking penalties, and sentencing aggravating factors
