Amends Florida Statute 381.00321 to expand enforcement options for health care providers and health care payors alleging violations of their right of medical conscience

Allows health care providers or payors to file a civil action directly if the Attorney General does not commence action within 180 days of a complaint filing

Permits civil actions to seek damages, injunctive relief, attorney fees, or any other appropriate relief

Allows violations of the medical conscience law to be asserted as a defense in judicial or administrative proceedings

Effective date: July 1, 2026
