Agency for Health Care Administration must conduct or contract for a fiscal impact study on implementing 340B Drug Pricing Program provisions for Medicaid pharmacies

Study must evaluate requiring drug manufacturers to sell drugs on the Medicaid preferred drug list at 340B discounted prices to Medicaid pharmacies, with rebates owed to the state if discounted prices exceed state Medicaid negotiated prices

Study must assess requiring pharmacy benefits managers in Medicaid to pay pharmacies the 340B discounted price plus professional dispensing fee for covered drugs on the preferred drug list

Study must examine requiring drug wholesalers and distributors to sell at 340B prices and prohibiting them from changing existing pricing models to exempt these drugs

Study results due to the Governor, Senate President, and House Speaker by January 31, 2027; act takes effect July 1, 2026
