Designates contractors providing public transit services under state or local government contracts as agents of the state for sovereign immunity purposes in tort actions

Extends this agent status to employees, agents, and subcontractors of public transit contractors when acting within the scope of their contract or applicable rules

Amends Section 768.28, Florida Statutes, by adding paragraph (m) to subsection (10)

Defines "public transit" by reference to the existing definition in Section 341.031(1), Florida Statutes

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
