Requires assistant regional counsel supervisors (employee class code 9903) to participate in the Florida Retirement System's Senior Management Service Class, effective July 1, 2026

Expands existing 2020 law that already mandated Senior Management Service Class participation for appointed criminal conflict and civil regional counsel, assistant regional counsel chiefs, administrative directors, and chief investigators

Allows affected members to purchase additional retirement credit retroactive to October 1, 2007 for creditable service within the Senior Management Service Class purview, though employers cannot purchase this credit on behalf of members

Appropriates $1,226,804 in recurring General Revenue funds for fiscal year 2026-2027 to criminal conflict and civil regional counsel offices for paying retirement benefits for the specified positions
