School districts must complete initial evaluations for IEP eligibility within 60 calendar days of receiving parental consent, and convene an IEP team meeting within 30 calendar days after eligibility is determined.

If a related service in a student's IEP cannot be provided as scheduled, school administrators must notify parents in writing within 5 school days, explain the reason, and provide a written make-up services plan.

Parents have the right to access all service logs within 15 school days of service delivery, and the IEP team must inform parents of this right at each IEP meeting.

School districts must provide individualized orientations to parents of newly identified exceptional students, covering procedural safeguards, parental rights, service log access, and complaint filing procedures, with signed acknowledgment required.

Each school district must develop standardized service logs with progress notes for tracking related services identified in students' IEPs.
