Creates section 491.019, Florida Statutes, establishing licensure by endorsement for marriage and family therapists from other states, the District of Columbia, or U.S. territories

Requires applicants to hold an active, unencumbered license in good standing and submit proof of all mental health licenses held in any jurisdiction

Applicants must not be currently subject to disciplinary proceedings related to marriage and family therapy practice

Prohibits licensure for applicants who have had disciplinary action taken against them within the 5 years preceding application

Effective date: July 1, 2026
