Creates a public records exemption for home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and photographs of current and former private investigators licensed by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services

Exempts personal information of investigators' spouses and children, including names, home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and places of employment

Protects the names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by children of licensed private investigators

Exemption is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and will automatically repeal on October 2, 2031, unless reenacted by the Legislature

Effective date: July 1, 2026
