Eliminates the requirement for supervising physicians to notify the Department of Health in writing before delegating prescribing authority to physician assistants

Removes the requirement that prescriptions issued by physician assistants include the supervising physician's name

Allows physician assistants to prescribe Schedule II psychiatric mental health controlled substances for a 30-day supply (adults) or 14-day supply (patients under 18), removing the previous restriction requiring supervision by a pediatrician, family practice physician, internal medicine physician, or psychiatrist

Exempts psychiatric nurses (as defined in s. 394.455) from the 7-day supply limit on Schedule II controlled substances and the 30-day supply limit on psychiatric mental health controlled substances for minors
